16" PIPE SUPPLY PROJECT

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids for the JONAH WATER SPECIAL UTILITY DISTRICT 16” PIPE SUPPLY PROJECT will be received at the offices of Jonah Water Special Utility District (“Jonah”), located at 4050 FM 1660 Hutto, TX 78634 until 11:00am, April 25, 2022, then publicly opened and read aloud.
The project generally consists of the purchase of at least 10,560 linear feet of 16” PVC pipe C905
Advertisement and proposal information for the Project can obtained from Jonah. All questions or clarifications must be submitted in writing to Bill Brown, Jonah’s General Manager by April 22, 2022 at the address listed above.
EVALUATION OF BIDS
Evaluation of Bids will be made based on the per foot cost for pipe meeting the specifications described above. The selection criteria and point value for each are shown in the following table:
PROCUREMENT SCHEDULE
The procurement process is anticipated to comply with the following schedule:
Issue Request for Bids: April 10, 2022
Deadline for Submission of Questions to District: 5:00 PM, April 22, 2022
Submission of Bids: 11:00 AM, April 25, 2022
Recommendation to Board of Directors: April 25, 2022
Approval of Contract Award by Board of Directors: April 25, 2022
Anticipated Contract Execution: April 25, 2022
A bid, which in the opinion of Jonah Water Special Utility District’s staff, deviates significantly from the required specifications, and which has not been clarified through a written addendum prior to the bid submittal deadline shall be considered an exception to the contract documents and grounds for the bid to be rejected.
Contract time is of the essence and substantial completion shall be no later than 180 calendar days after execution of the contract.
Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities and irregularities in bids received.
